He was predeceased by: his parents, Eino Nevala and Martha Anderson Nevala; his brothers, Martin and Arnie Nevala; and his brother-in-law Don Mattonen.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria Nevala; his sons, Danny Nevala (Alicia) and Bill Nevala; his sisters, Maria Somero (Earl) and Nina Mattonen; his sisters-in-law, Kathy Nevala, Inez Malone and Dovie Frith; his grandchildren, Erin Nevala, Calvin Nevala, Russ Nevala and Nick Nevala (Julia); his great grandchild Noah Nevala; and his friend Bernie Mica. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
