He is survived by: his wife Adela Pineda of Mexico; and his children, Jaime Zuniga of Mexico, Lidia Zuniga, Armando Solis of Mexico, Giberto Zuniga, Evelia Amaya of Louisiana, Juan Zuniga, Noelia Monsevais of Texas, Isabel Zuniga, Hugo Zapata of Texas, Silvia Zuniga, Miguel Zapata of Illinois, Estela Zuniga of Mexico, Gregorio Zuniga and Angelica Zuniga of Nebraska. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren.
