She was predeceased by: her parents, Isaac Bradford and Lois Webster Emmons; her husband Hewitt Douglas Carter; and her brother Emmons of Ruston, LA.. She is survived by: her daughter Laura Burton of Long Beach, MS; her grandchildren, Holly Swan Favre (Johnny Favre) of Long Beach, MS and Jared Douglas Swan of Atlanta, GA; and her great grandchildren, Laura Favre Carpenter (Jeremy Carpenter), Sammy Favre of Long Beach, MS, Zachary Douglas Swan and Ethan Wayne Swan of Atlanta, GA. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and family members.
