He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia Ann Lewis; his parents, Amie G. Burks and J. T. Burks; his brother LaShan Burks Jr.; his granddaughter Kiara Lewis; and his stepchild Lamonte Williams.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tonya Lewis and Amelia Lewis; his grandchildren, Raja Lewis, DaCovan Lewis, Kaeâ, Nike Banks and Na Tachi Banks; his aunt Faye; his uncle Jimmy; and also, Mitchell Lewis, Tony Lewis and Steve Lewis.
