He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Gibbs Causey; his parents, Clyde Ernest Causey and Nannie Mae Norris Causey; and his siblings, Ernest Causey, Francis Causey Jones and Carolyn Causey Beckett.

He is survived by: his son Ed Causey of Ruston; his grandchildren, Chris Causey (Cristy), Joe Don Causey and Tim Causey (Kayla); and his great grandchildren, Evan Causey, Julian Causey, Adelaide Causey and Violet Causey.
