She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert W. Cumpton and Willie Mae Griffin Cumpton; and her siblings, Robert W. Cumpton and Audrey Elaine Cumpton. She is survived by: her children, Dennis Raye Garland, Ivy Richard Garland (Gloria H. Garland), Brenda Carol Garland and Melanie Elaine McLemore (Larry McLemore); her grandchildren, Denise Renee Garland Maxwell, Michael Jason Rivoire, Niki Marie Rivoire and Richard Grayson Garland; and her stepgrandsons, Heath Allen McLemore and Larry Wade McLemore. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
