He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Whitehead and Evon Whitehead; and his siblings, Nancy Biggs (Earl Wayne), Roy Whitehead (Marie), Ronnie Whitehead (Mary), Jimmy Whitehead and Larry Whitehead.
He is survived by: his wife Sherry Clark Whitehead; his children, Tina Murray (Paul) and Todd Whitehead (Tammy); his grandchildren, Payton, MattieLin, Dustin and Breanna; and his siblings-in-law, Celie Whitehead, Ethel Whitehead, Debra Cardin (Tommy), Brenda Cardin (Donald), Robbie Carter (Greg) and Paul Coleman (Susie). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
