He was predeceased by: his parents, Atanasio Hernandez and Mary Hernandez; and his siblings, Pete Hernandez, Mike Hernandez, John Hernandez, Teresa Salinas, Jesse Takewell, Florence Horn, Julia Salinas and Lorena Horton.
He is survived by: his son Pancho Hernandez (Twala); his granddaughter Madison Hernandez; and the mother of his child Frances Jean Hernandez. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
