It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence Adams Sr. of Evergreen, Louisiana, who passed away on June 18, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Anna Gauthier Adams; his son Joey Adams; his grandson Justin Adams; his parents, Robert, Sr. Adams and Pearl Beauvais Adams; his siblings, Ewell Adams, Robert Adams, Jr. and Vivian Adams Taylor; and his stepbrother Melvin Harris.
He is survived by: his sons, David Adams of Marksville, Gerald Paul Adams of Evergreen and Lawrence "Junior" Adams, Jr. (Carol) of Hessmer; his half-sisters, Carol Adams Tassin (Darrel) of Evergreen, Carmen Adams Williams of Kenner, Lillie Adams Craig (Harold) of Lafayette and Sheila Adams Bordelon (Steve) of Lafayette; his stepsister Pauline Mason of Baton Rouge; and his grandchildren, Trinity Adams, Chris Adams, Amy Dauzat and Amanda Vead. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren and six great, great grandchildren.
