It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Josephine Moses Barrere of Evergreen, Louisiana, who passed away on May 10, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husbands, Allen Moses and Alvin Barrere; her parents, John Irving and Vienna Pruit Franks; her son Jeff J. Moses, Jr.; and her siblings, Shirley Mae Franks, Raphael Franks and Curtis Fogleman.
She is survived by: her children, Christie Deshotel (Henry) of Plaucheville, James Moses (Melissa) of Cottonport and Wilson Moses (Judy) of Cottonport; and her siblings, Beulah Dyakman (Ralph) of DeRidder, Shirley Ann Fontenot (Mike) of Morrow, Ruth Finch of Arkansas and John Irvin Franks, Jr. (Pat) of Lubbock, TX. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and fourtenn great grandchildren.
