He was predeceased by: his parents, Emily Ann Galland and Ward Galland; his wife Ivanell Richard Galland (Nell); his sister Eloise Beard (Lou); and his children, Gerald Galland, Renee Beddingfield and Bryan Galland.
He is survived by: his siblings, Geraldine Sheets (Gerry) of Lafayette, LA and Elson Galland of Duson, LA.; and his daughters, Regina Pennington of Huntsville, TX, Rhonda Rouse (Steve) of Brazoria, TX and Robin Keenen (Bill) of Ingleside, TX.
He was a generous man and gave to several charity organizations regularly.
