He was predeceased by: his grandson Rylan Smith; his parents, Edward, Sr. Smith and Dollie Smith; his aunt Ruby; his uncle Obe Simmons; and his pet Cherokee.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Smith (Lakin) and Ashley Smith of DeRidder, LA; his close friend Alma Stone of DeRidder, LA; the mother of his children Nancy Smith of Rosepine, LA; his stepdaughter Stacy Kennamore (Jackie); his brother Hershel Smith (Catherine); his grandchildren, Bryson Smith, Bayker Smith, Ryder Smith, Anna Kennamore and Allie Addison; and his great grandchildren, Darren and Walker. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Viewing will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Galilee Baptist Church (403 Bonner Rd, Evans, LA 70639). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
