He is survived by: his wife Doris Sonnier Chapman; his children, Mitch Chapman (Charlotte Oubre) and Annette Chapman-Raby (Chris Raby); and his grandchildren, Bryce Chapman, Allix Chapman, Sterling Birdwell and Erik Birdwell.
