Ernest Fontaine Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ernest Fontaine (Evangeline, Louisiana), who passed away on March 12, 2018 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Madeleine Couchon; his parents, Donald Charles Fontaine and Nora Prince; and his brother Roger Fontaine. He is survived by: his sons, Phillip Fontaine (Katie) of Filmore, CA, Larry Fontaine (Anne) of Seven Devils and Don Fontaine (Tammie) of Kaplan. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.

Also, in lieu of flowers, the family is asking that memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Acadiana, 2600 Johnston Street, Lafayette, LA 70503.
