He is survived by: his daughters, Renee Hardy (Michael) of Evangeline and Kimberly Pelissier (Seth) of Evangeline; his close friend Sherry Broussard of Gueydan; his sisters, Annette Reed (Billy) of Evangeline, Mona Mitchell (Kevin) of Evangeline, Tricia Martin of Evangeline and Deborah Britt (Scooter) of Jennings; and his grandchildren, Marshall Hardy, Evelyn Hardy, Lee and Luke Pelissier.
