He was predeceased by: his parents, Noah Richard and Amelia Doucet Richard; his wives, Mary Beatrice Racca and Anna LeJeune; his sons, John Anthony, Sr., Rodney Joseph and Don Paul Richard; and his siblings, Verbe Sittig, Vernice Hebert and Curly Richard.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jonette Richard Parsley (Dickie) of Evangeline, LA and Denise Richard Saxby (Charles) of Westlake, LA; and his stepchildren, David M. LeJeune, Steve LeJeune, Tyanna LeJeune, Colette LeJeune, Yvette LeJeune and Stephanie Alvarez. He is also survived by his seven grandchildren; his ten great grandchildren; as well as numerous step grandchildren & step great grandchildren.
