He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Kermick Johnson and Margey Fontenot Johnson; his children, Casey Jo Johnson, Brittany Johnson Murphy (Robert) of Elton and Jadelyn Ebarb of Jennings; his son-in-law Kendall O'Blanc of Egan; his grandchildren, Raylee Jo O'Blanc, Carson Ryan O'Blanc and Cole Maddox O'Blanc; his siblings, Otis Johnson (Kayla), Rachel Johnson Fontenot (Randy) and Justin LeBleu (Jennifer) of Basile; his godchildren, Josh Johnson of Eunice, Lisa Martin of Baton Rouge and Jevin Fontenot of Basile; his stepmother Pam Johnson; and his grandparents, Vorice, Edwina Fontenot, Louis, Wilda Lejeune and Ano Johnson. He was also cherished by his 14 nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM and on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ardoin's Funeral Home~basile (1210 S Ryan Ave, Basile, LA 70515). A prayer was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Ardoin's Funeral Home Chapel (1210 S Ryan Ave, Basile, LA 70515). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 11:45 AM to 12:00 PM at the St Augustine Cemetery (2717 Dr Bobby Deshotel Ave, Basile, LA 70515).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family, and please hang your Saints memorabilia upside down, tell a good joke in Tony's name, cook up a good meal, watch a horse race, and remember to always find joy in life—just like he did every single day.
