He is survived by : his wife Ruby Smith Francois; his children, Todd Francois (Traci), Lee Francois (Holly), Shannon Person (Brad) and Robin Francois; and his siblings, Huey "Bootsie" Francois (Joanne), Kenneth Francois, Billy Francois (Elaine), Ronney Francois (Phyllis), Emmit Francois (Cecile) and Audrey Smith (Bates). He is also survived by ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
