She was predeceased by: her husband Raymond J. Broussard; her stepfather Gilton LeJeune; her sister Pamela LeJeune Deville; her nephew Toby Paul Jenkins; and her niece Alayiah LeJeune.
She is survived by: her children, Ricky Romero, Jr. (Jackie) of Eunice, Jamie Romero of Duson, Brandon Romero (Nichole) of Lafayette and Lacie Romero of Duson; her mother Carrie Courville LeJeune of Eunice; her sister Linda Jenkins Bourgeois of Eunice; and her grandchildren, Brittany Vai, Haley Romero, Shelly Romero, Lexi Collins, Tristen Romero, Kaden Romero, Kyson Romero, Rylie Romero, Ryder Romero and Aubrey Romero. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; as well as extended family.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Ardoin's Funeral Home (1301 W Laurel Ave, Eunice, LA 70535). A prayer was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Anthony Catholic Church (310 W Vine Ave, Eunice, LA 70535).
