It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruby Benoit Carroll of Eunice, Louisiana, who passed away on December 20, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her daughter Rebecca Dupre; her parents, J. "Charlie" Benoit, Sr. and Gladys Cormier Benoit; her siblings, Darrell Benoit, Joe Benoit, Linda Daigle, Wilda Bihm, Judy Benoit and Joann Johnson; and her son-in-law Dwain Pitre, Sr..
She is survived by: her children, Marshall Dupre, Tommy Dupre (Cindy), Elvin "Jay" Dupre (Bonnie), Sue Guilbeaux, Tammy Pitre, Tout Vidrine (Ricky) and Marlene Guillory (Paul); her siblings, Gerald Benoit (Rose), Jeanette Prejean (Darrell), Jeanelle Johnson, Brenda Benoit (Donald) and Wilma Bihm; and her great grandchild Maizee Catherine Vidrine. She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren; thirty-four great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; three step grandchildren and five step great-grandchildren.
