He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Soileau and Rita Duplechin Soileau; his wife Joyce Lavergne Soileau; his brother Ronald Soileau; and his former wife Hilda Mae Deaville Soileau.
He is survived by: his children, Roland "Jim" Soileau, Jr. (Kayla) and Shelly Jenkins (Harry); his stepchildren, Gerry Savoy, Wedna Smith, Sandra Whitaker and Troy LeJeune; and his brothers, Jessie Soileau and Wilton Soileau. He is also survived by five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
