He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Stevens and Edolia Stevens; his wife Myrtle Stevens; his children, Horace Stevens, Louis Stevens, Myrtle Thomas and Wanda Gallow; and his siblings, Gaven Stevens, Wilson Stevens, Calvin Stevens, Sam Stevens, Rose Stevens and Alberta Williams.
He is survived by: his daughters, Rena Steven of Eunice and Verlena Lafleur of Crowley; and his siblings, Dudley Stevens (Janette) of Eunice and Hazel Brown of Eunice. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, and 50 great-grandchildren.
