He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ann Fontenot Smith of Chataignier; his daughter Suzanne Renee'Smith; his stepdaughter Angela Kay Vidrine of Chataignier; his siblings, Joseph Gary Inhern of Opelousas and Jeanetta Smith Manuel of Mamou; his grandchildren, Allison Brasseur and Jonathan Stanford Vidrine (Brittany); and his great grandchildren, Alex Crowe, Amelie, Jon Curtis and Annalise Vidrine.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Ardoin's Funeral Home (1301 W Laurel Ave, Eunice, LA 70535). A rosary was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church (Chataignier, LA 70524). A burial was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery (Chataignier, LA 70524).
