He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace Deaville and Irma Jean Fontenot; his wife Rebecca "Wheezie" Deaville; his siblings, Horace "Joe" Deaville, Jr., Susan Deaville Leger and Peggy Deaville Comeaux; and his great grandchild Kyryn Zion Edwards.
He is survived by: his children, John "Robbie" Watson, Jr. (Tammy) of New Iberia, Tammi Rae Thibodeaux (Donnie) of Eunice, Ashley Nicole Simon (Roland) of Eunice and Sondra Deaville (Paul Karlson-Perhonis) of Cecelia; his siblings, Keith Deaville (Carlene) of Eunice, Donald Deaville (Susan) of Eunice and Brenda Deaville Fontenot of Eunice; his grandchildren, Cody Ray Bruton, Christopher Thibodeaux, Alanah Deaville and Jacob Thibodeaux; and his great grandchildren, Tiana Bruton, Eli Hayes Thibodeaux, Benson Thibodeaux, Waylon Thibodeaux, Aria Brown, Ryver Paige Thibodeaux and Lawson Thibodeaux. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
