He was predeceased by: his parents, Deo Fruge and Lorita Young Menier; and his siblings, Glenn Fruge, Ruby Broussard and Faye Feucht.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Mott Fruge; his children, Chip Fruge (Mandy), Eric Fruge (Alison), Chris Fruge and Jolene Gaul (Chris); and his sisters, Ruth Rozas and Gail Fontenot. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
