She was predeceased by: her husband Lurnest J. Fruge; her parents, Noah Ardoin and Aline Prejean Ardoin; her sister Mary Lou Johnson Fontenot; and her son-in-law Lucius Vasseur.
She is survived by: her daughters, Diana Fruge Lavergne (Glynn) of Eunice, Jeannie Fruge Anding (Joe) of Opelousas, Theresa Fruge Vidrine (Ronny) of Opelousas, Janet Fruge Prudhomme of Lawtell, Jessica Fruge Vasseur of Opelousas and Angie Fruge Thibodeaux (Kevin) of Prairie Rhonde; her brother Judson Ardoin (Vergie) of Eunice; and her grandchildren, Kurt Lavergne (Melissa), Shannon Lavergne (Karen), Jeanne Lantier (Shad), Paul Anding (Samantha), Brian Vidrine (Melissa), Mark Vidrine (Tabitha), Brannon Prudhomme (Tina), Lance Vasseur, Lainey Martinez (Jed), Laurie Perkins (Nick), Logan Thibodeaux (Abby) and Cort Thibodeaux (Morgan). She is also survived by twenty great grandchildren and ten great-great grandchildren.
