It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nellie Greene Dupre of Eunice, Louisiana, born in Ville Platte, Louisiana, who passed away on August 16, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her spouses, Geary Wilkins Jr., Lester Guillory and Claude Dupre; her grandchildren, Christopher Guillory, Marchello Guillory and Ashley Gobert; and her great grandchild Arya Hudson.
She is survived by: her children, Sandra Wilkins of Eunice, Ramona Peña (Joseph) of Anahuac, TX, Timothy Guillory (Joyce) of Ville Platte, Marcus Guillory (Miriam) of Buford and Jemal Dupre of Baton Rouge; and her friend Octave Allen of Basile. She is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren and thirty-eight great-grandchildren: and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
