She was predeceased by: her parents, Marshall Fontenot and Rose Bellard Fontenot; and her siblings, Evella Fruge, Virgie Victorian, Rose Mary Roberts, Joseph Fontenot, John Herbert Fontenot and Hubert Fontenot.
She is survived by: her husband Lionel Mitchell of Eunice; her children, Lawrence James Mitchell of Eunice, Keith O'Brian Mitchell of Jennings and Christiner Rose Mitchell of Eunice; and her sisters, Virginia LeDet, Martha Celestine and Margaret Ayler.
