It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Balque Sr. (Eunice, Louisiana), who passed away on October 15, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Armond Balque and Irene Larue Balque; and his siblings, Bervick Balque, Tony Balque, Fermon Balque and Thelma Shorten.

He is survived by: his wife Josephine Guillory Balque; his children, Michael Balque, Jr. (Yvette), Evand Latoura Balque (Isabel) and Monica Mott (Troy); and his siblings, Matthew Balque and Edmonia Balque. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
