He was predeceased by: his son Matthew Balque, Jr.; his parents, Armond Balque and Irene Balque; and his siblings, Thelma Balque Shorten, Dorothy Balque, Bervick, Welton, Fermon and Michael Balque.
He is survived by: his wife Miyon Balque of Lafayette, LA; and his sister Edmonia Balque of Houston, TX.
