She was predeceased by: her parents, Cleo Tate and Maria Soileau Tate; and her siblings, Kerney Tate, Leonard Tate, Ethel Tate, Margie Young and Ollie Burley.

She is survived by: her sons, Steve Collier and Dewitt Collier; and her grandson Marc S. Collier.
