She was predeceased by: her parents, Eloi Soileau and Lena Soileau; her husband Edward L Gil, Sr.; her siblings, Jenston Soileau, Huey Soileau, Allen Soileau, Terry Soileau, Nettie Fontenot and Beverly Fontenot; her brothers-in-law, Dickey Gil and E. J. Lemoine; her nieces and nephews, Glenn Lemoine, Chauncey Fontenot, Susan Kay Bodin and Jeanne Gil; and also, Willie D and Mary Lou Gil.
She is survived by: her children, Eddie Gil, Jr., Nickey Gil (Jolene), Mark Gil (Ruth Ann), Timmy Gil, Julie Wedlock (Dwayne) and Tammy Heinen; and also, George, Gwen Gil, Robert Gil, Allie, Patsy Fontenot, Gertrude Soileau and Melda Dupre. She is also survived by thirty grandchildren; fifty one great grandchildren.
