He was predeceased by: his wife Louetta Francis Hains Moody; his grandson Brian Moody; his great grandchild Sophia Moody; his parents, Lon Jacob Moody, Jr. and Cecile Babeaux Moody; and his siblings, Margaret Moody Pellegrin (Terry Pellegrin, Sr.), Patrick Moody and Edward Morris Moody, Sr. (Johanne Mauboules Moody).
