She was predeceased by: her parent Azalee Breaux Deason; her husband Michael O. Sonnier; her father Woodrow B. Deason; and her brothers, Woodrow B. Deason, Jr., William M. Deason and Leon R. Deason.
She is survived by: her sisters-in-law, Sandy Rider (Russell "Potic") of Basile and Nanette Sonnier of Basile; her nephews, Woodrow "Woody" B. Deason III (Amanda) of Tulsa, OK, Woodrow B. Deason IV, Dylan Tyler Deason and Derrick Deason (Cissy) of Basile; and her niece Ashley Delafosse (Caleb) of Lafayette.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 7:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Ardoin's Funeral Home Chapel (1210 S Ryan Ave, Basile, LA 70515). A rosary was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at the St Augustine Cemetery (2717 Dr Bobby Deshotel Ave, Basile, LA 70515).
