He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Mire and Eugene Sonnier Mire; his great grandchild Stetson Paul Mire; and his siblings, Clarence Mire, Jr., Thelma Bodin and Robert Mire.
He is survived by: his wife Berna Mire of Eunice; his sons, Kenneth Mire of Eunice, Mitchell Paul Mire (Alisa) of Vidrine and Brent Mire of Eunice; his siblings, Wilbert Mire (Loma) of Church Point, Gerald Mire of Arnaudville, Connie Cole of Lawtell, Charlene Mallet of Leonville and Beulah Soileau (Berchman) of Opelousas; his grandchildren, Garrett Mire (Kelly), Justin Mire (Alyssa), Abbie Mire, Devon Mire and Timothy Mire; and his great grandchild Weston Mire.
