She was predeceased by : her husband Jessie W. Fontenot; her parents, Odess Darbonne and Rosa Matte Darbonne; and her granddaughter Alexa Monique Soileau. She is survived by : her children, Joseph Kurt Fontenot (Mary Thrasher), Jessie S. Fontenot (Jessica), Denise Fontenot (Bobby) and Monique Fontenot; her grandchildren, Sarah, Bailey, Olivia, Christopher, Amelia, Wesley, Wyatt, Brice, Noah, Cabot, Kaigen, Kallie, Gavin and Madison; her great grandchild Vivian; and her sister Dorothy Lafleur.
