He was predeceased by: his parents, William Luther Mills and Anna Bevins Mills; and his siblings, Billy Lee Mills, Jack Mills and Virginia Mills.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Louviere Mills; his son Boyd "Chip" Mills; and his stepdaughters, LaDonna Froman and Talli Froman. He is also survived by two grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
