He was predeceased by: his wife Verbie Courville Sanfilippo; his parents, Antonio Sanfilippo and Maria LoBianco Sanfilippo; and his siblings, Pietro, Salvatore, Giacomo, Antonio, Samuele, Rosalino, Stefano Sanfilippo and Caterina Schettino.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Sanfilippo (Kathy), Alice Sawaf (Jamal) and Paula Sanfilippo; his grandchildren, Christopher Sanfilippo (Jill), Katie Jackson (Kris), Sumaya Sawaf (Ammar Alkadamani) and NaaserAldeen Sawaf (Salam Al-Saadi); and his great grandchildren, Jakob, Ethan, Logan, Anabelle, Natalie, Koen, Nesayba, Yasmeen, Layla and Maryam.
