He is survived by: his wife Teasa Istre Monreal; his children, Jose Angel Monreal, Jr., Dyllan Joe Istre, Cindy Madeline Monreal, Crystal Shauntae Terry (Jeremy) and Alma Lynn Monreal (Thomas Paul Ardoin); his siblings, Tony Deleon, Catalina Garza and Yolanda Bonilla; and his grandchildren, Franco Aldair Monreal Estrada, Angelyn Monreal and Artimus Rae (Terry).
