He was predeceased by: his daughter Clara Andrus; his parents, Thomas Newton Andrus, Sr. and Clara Greene Andrus; his brothers, Thomas Andrus, Jr. and Joseph Calvin Andrus; his sisters-in-law, Burnella Andrus and Elma Andrus; his nephew Kevin James Bourque; and his nieces, Toni Louise Durio and Patti Ruth Andrus.
He is survived by: his children, John David Andrus, Kelly Michael McKenzie, Linda Chinn and Kathleen Gallegos; his nieces, Sherald Lynn Ortego (Joel) and Donna Fitzgerald (Carl); his sister Judy Bourque (Ronald Thibodeaux); his nephew Keith Allen Bourque; his nieces, Kayla Bourque Bertrand and Marti Simon; and his grandchildren, Joe, Chasity, Ryan, Chelsea, Holly, Kaley, Tina, Kimberly, Amber, Brian and Kevin. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
