She is survived by: her children, Charles Leckelt, Jr. (Mandie) of Morse, Amanda Richard of Evangeline, Teresa Leckelt of Egan and Paula Leckelt of Rayne; her siblings, Edward Navarre (Kathy) of Rayne, Larry Navarre (Delores) of Rayne, Mark Navarre (Bonnie) of Rayne, Roy Navarre (Faye) of Crowley, Emela Istre of Crowley, Marlene Navarre of Crowley and Eva Smith (Todd) of Jennings; her grandchildren, Lacey Richard, Hailey LeJeune, Corey LeJeune, Angel Leckelt, Shannon Menard, Gracie Leckelt, Sebastian Menard, Payton Leckelt, Layton Leckelt, Nathan Leckelt, Nicole Fontenot, Chris Menard, David Fontenot, Tristen Bennett and Kristen Bennett; and her great grandchildren, Hudson Simon, Jaydan May, Madelyn May, Emmett May, Ryder Stutes, Demi Kuhn, Layla Leckelt, Brentlee Latiolais, Blaiden Trahan, Azylnn Trahan, Enzley Trahan, Aven Trahan, Charlie Menard and Rose Menard.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Ardoin's Funeral Home (840 Howard St, Iota, LA 70543). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Ardoin's Funeral Home Chapel (840 Howard St, Iota, LA 70543). A burial was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 2:45 PM to 3:00 PM at the Iota City Cemetery.
