He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Adkins and Marjorie Barnes Adkins. He is survived by: his wife Elmarie Barzare Adkins; his stepchildren, Angie McCune (Craig) of Lake Charles, Joey Cormier (Marie) of Eunice and Blake Cormier of Houston; and his grandchildren, Kelli Thibodeaux, Heather Burton, Kayla LeJeune, Katie Cormier, Brent Cormier, Alex Cormier and Amber Cormier. He is also survived by fifteen great grandchildren; as well as extended family and friends.
