He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex Bourque and Rena Touchet Bourque; his former wife Brenda Faye Romero Bourque; his daughter Hannah Landreneau; his grandchildren, Christian Ryan Breaux, Emma Grace Breaux, Eva Catherine Breaux and Talon Antoine Breaux; and his siblings, Dudley Bourque, Felix Bourque, Joseph "Black" Bourque, Eunice Bourque Derouen and Inez Baudoin.

He is survived by: his wife Connie Rachele Landreneau; his children, Kimberly Bourque Smith (Edward), Kelly Bourque Breaux (Ryan), Richard Lance Landreneau (Ashley), Jacob Kyle Landreneau, Victor Layne Landreneau (Nicky), Ashlyn "Nikki" Vallot (Dusty) and Kelli Brown Arceneaux (Dwight); his sister Jean Sanders; his grandchildren, Konnor Jude Smith, Kaylen Claire Smith, Taylor Nicole Hebert, Zachary Paul Hebert, Estelle Gabriella Breaux, Kaidance Eve Landreneau, Abigail Blair Landreneau, Joshua David Brown, Gabriel Joseph Arceneaux, Benjamin Thibodeaux, Jonah Michael Thibodeaux, Noah Michael Arceneaux, Elah Danielle Arceneaux, Kohen Jade Landreneau, Laken Rachele Landreneau "Mexico" and Tyler Payge Hardacre; and his godsons, Chad Romero and Steve Bourque. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and lifelong friends.
