He was predeceased by: his parents, John Fruge and Nora Miller Fruge; his wife Hedy Parent Fruge; and his siblings, D. J. Fruge, Clara Castille and Bruce Fruge.
He is survived by: his sons, Brent Joseph Fruge (Jackie) of Mulberry, FL, Michael James Fruge (Geralyn) of Prairieville and Scott Christopher Fruge (Candace) of Denham Springs; his brothers, John Fruge (Mary), Clifton Fruge (Brenda) of Mamou and Terry Fruge of Eunice; his grandchildren, Whitney Parker (Carson), Hunter Fruge, Chelsea Fruge, Drake Fruge (Alyce), Patrick Fruge (Vanessa), Kelley Fruge (Caitlyn), Elliot Fruge (Lauren), Zachary Fruge, Grace Fruge, Eve Fruge and Charles Fruge; and his great grandchildren, Freddie Parker, Olivia Fruge, Kassie, Theodore Fruge and Adelaide Fruge.
