He is survived by: his children, Gerald "Papoose" J. Matt, Jr. (Shelly), Brandy Rogers (Mark) and Bridget Moody (Jonathan); his brother Sylvester Smith; his grandchildren, Lauren, Hunter, Marisa, Marcus, Lysie, Payton and Cora; and his great grandchildren, Liam, Kim, Cambri, Kailum, Kynslee, Raelynn and Kolbee.
