He was predeceased by : his parents, George Maitre and Jeanne Lamarque Maitre of New Orleans; and his wife Joan Gehbauer Maitre. He is survived by : his children, Michelle Borne (Glenn) of Eunice and Mark Maitre (Stacey) of Porter Ranch, CA; his grandchildren, Derek Borne (Andre), Jessica Turner (Trey) of Eunice, Asher Maitre of Reseda, CA, Cameron Maitre and Selam Maitre (Sosina Maitre); and his great grandchildren, Mallory Borne, Adalynn, Annabelle and Daniel Turner.
