She was predeceased by: her parents, Nicholas Zaunbrecher and Josephine Frey Zaunbrecher; and her husband Jesse Paul Fruge. She is survived by: her children, Raymond Joseph Fruge (Tammy) of Eunice, Duane Fruge (Roni) of Gonzales, Marie Therese Janise (Sherman) of Eunice, Phyllis Steech (Gene) of Lake Charles, Gwen Cart and Paul of Eunice; her siblings, Rodney Zaunbrecher of Iowa, Margaret Regan of Egan, JoAnn Meyer of Roberts Cove and Edna Mae Leger (Mike) of Iowa; and her grandchildren, Jeremie Janise (Laura), Jacob Janise, Adrienne Walker (Ryan), Wesley Steech (Jessica), Caleb Cart (Katie), Seth Cart (Khasi), Michael Fruge (Sarah), David Fruge (Julie), Adam Fruge, Nicholas Fruge, Zachary Fruge (Laura), Joshua Chapman (Melissa), Ashley LeBouef (Dustin) and Jamie Darbonne (Paul). She is also survived by her twenty-four great grandchildren, as well as extended family and friends.
