It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Esther Guillot (Eunice, Louisiana), born in Crowley, Louisiana, who passed away on March 21, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Nolan J. Guillot; her parents, Louis Roy and Laurice Trahan Roy Merritt; her stepfather Emmitt Merritt; her sisters, Patsy R. Leleux and Thelma Reese; and her niece Christine Roy Duhon.
She is survived by: her children, Carolyn G. Mire of Crowley and Patrick Dale Guillot (Sue) of Marshall, NC; her grandchildren, Michelle M. Landry (Michael) of Ball, LA, Traci M. Simon of Crowley, Jane G. Taylor (Michael) of Fayetteville, NC, Chad D. Mire of Crowley, Jay P. Guillot of Marshall, NC and John T. Guillot of Los Angeles, CA; her great grandchildren, Claire Landry, Olivia Mire, Avari Simon, Gabriel Mire, Michael Jude Landry and Nolan Dale Taylor; and her brother Lee Perry Roy (Effie) of Crowley. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
