With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ena Mae LaFleur Bertrand of Eunice, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 7, 2024 at the age of 94. She was predeceased by: her husband Lawrence Bertrand; her children, Kenneth Bertrand, Brad Bertrand and Evelyn Kavanah; her parents, Relice LaFleur and Ida Manuel LaFleur; and her siblings, Dewey LaFleur, Elee LaFleur, Willis LaFleur, Eleanor Johnson, Anna Monier and Lorainne LaFleur.
She is survived by: her son Larry Bertrand; her grandchildren, Kelly Kavanagh (Bryson), Bill Kavanagh (Erin), Annie Fontenot (Andy), Lori Lalonde (Kevin), Tisha Jack (Terrance), Clint Bertrand, Brennen Bertrand (Jamie) and Martin Bertrand; and her great grandchildren, Chloe, Kaden, Wesley, Mikey, Wyatt, Brittany, Sydney, Morgan and Abby Jane. She is also survived by three great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Quirk & Son Funeral Home - Eunice (121 S 6th St, Eunice, LA 70535). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at the St. Paul Cemetery (1150 Walnut Ave, Eunice, LA 70535).
