She was predeceased by: her parents, Felix Boone and Violet Godeaux Boone; her daughter Myra Street; and her siblings, Steve, Leroy, Thomas Boone, Florence Gaspard, Doris Olivier, Elaine Fortson and Berline Boone.
She is survived by: her children, Mitchell Ashford of Iota, Ronald Ashford (Tammy) of Eunice, Kevin Ashford (Tiffany) of Mamou, Travis Matte of Eunice, Jessica Castille of Eunice, Sara Ashford (Harold) of Eunice, Shanet Prochaska of Washington and Danielle Daigle of Kinder; her siblings, Stafford Boone and Bertha Matte; her grandchildren, Brant Street, Richard John Castille and Tricia Ashford; and her children-in-law, Belinda Ashford, Ashley Matte, Steven Street and Nelson Prochaska. She is also survived by thirty-two grandchildren, forty-six great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Ardoin's Funeral Home (1301 W Laurel Ave, Eunice, LA 70535). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery (1400 E Laurel Ave, Eunice, LA 70535).
